Are the rewards for locking CHIP tokens random?
The vault is a profit share system, thus the rewards for the CHIP tokens are based on the profit accumulated inside the vault.
The way the rewards are calculated for each player is based on the amount of CHIP tokens they have locked. The math formula is:
(Vault_Payment / All_Locked_CHIP) * Your_Locked_Chip
So the most you lock, the more you will earn from the total payment.
I lock 1000 CHIP, how much do I earn?
Players and Chips.gg are rewarded each 50% from the vault distribution, while the rest of the funds remains inside the vault for the next distribution. So for example if the pool is 1,000,000$, and there is a total of 50,000,000 CHIP tokens total locked, then for every 1,000 CHIP you lock you will earn 5$ in rewards in different currencies. Based on the formula below this will look like:
1,000,000$ * 50% = 500,000$ (Total payout for the team and the players)
500,000$ * 50% = 250,000$ (50% from the payout for the players)
(250,000$ / 50,000,000 CHIPs Locked) * 1000 (Your locked CHIPs)
0.005 * 1000 = 5$
of course this is not fixed, as there are many variables here that might change causing the earnings to increase or decrease.
