The NEW chat rain

Rain is a way for players to share a prize pool with other players in public chat.

You can start a Rain, join an active Rain, or add money to one. The important part: Rain is not split evenly. Your share is based on how much you wagered.

A Rain is a prize pool that players can create and share with other eligible players.
When someone starts a Rain, a timer begins. During that time, eligible players can join and receive a share of the pool.

Players can also add more money to the pool while the Rain is active. When the timer ends, the pool is shared between everyone who joined. If nobody joins, the people who added money to the Rain get their money back.

Make sure you join before the timer ends.
Once you've joined, your qualifying wager determines how much of the prize pool you receive.

Your share depends on how much you've wagered compared with the other players who joined.

More qualifying wager = a bigger share of the prize pool.

Let's say the Rain has a $900 prize pool and three players join:

So everyone gets a share, but the players with more wager receive a larger share.

So, you can join the same Rain as someone else and receive a different amount.

Yes. There is a certain capped wager per player that is counted when calculating your share. This helps prevent one player with a very large wager from taking most of the prize pool.

No. Joining early doesn't give you a bigger payout. Your share is based on your qualifying wager, not on when you joined.

Your Rain share is based on your wager, not how many accounts you use.
Splitting the same wager between multiple accounts doesn't give you a bigger share.
Multi-accounting is also still against the T&Cs.

No! This new Rain works differently now.

With the new Rain, you need to join it yourself, and your share is based on your qualifying wager. So you don't get a share just for being in chat or typing at the right time.

In short, The more wager you have, the bigger your share can be.
