Taking a break: Self-exclusion option
Taking a break: Self-exclusion option

Need some time off? You can temporarily self-exclude your account for a certain period.

Updated over a week ago

It’s quick and simple—just head to the Responsible Gambling section of your account settings (https://chips.gg/profile/general-responsible-gambling) to set it up.

Remember, self-exclusion requests are binding and cannot be canceled once they’ve been submitted. This policy is part of our commitment to responsible gambling and ensuring you have the tools to manage your gaming experience.

Ready? Let’s Walk You Through It!

  1. Find your profile
First things first: head to the top-right corner of the screen and click on your username or avatar. This will open up your account menu.

  2. Navigate to settings
Once in the menu, select "Settings". Think of this as your control hub for all account-related actions.

  3. Click on the responsible gambling tab
Look for "Responsible Gambling" and click on it. Here, you’ll find the tools you need to manage your playtime responsibly.

  4. Locate the self-exclusion option
Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the Responsible Gaming page. You’ll see a section labeled "Self-Exclusion"—this is where the magic happens.

  5. Choose your timeframe
Decide how long you’d like to take a break. You can choose from the following options:

    • 1 Day

    • 1 Week

    • 1 Month

    • 6 Months

    • 1 Year

    • Or even permanently close your account if necessary.

  6. Confirm your choice
    After selecting your timeframe:

    • Enter your registered email address.

    • Input your 2FA code (if enabled).

  7. Enable exclusion
Finally, click on "Enable Self Exclusion." That’s it—your account will now be self-excluded based on the timeframe you selected.

Whether you're a seasoned player or just getting started, it’s important to have the tools to manage your gaming experience effectively.
