What is HiLo?
HiLo is a fast and simple card prediction game where players guess whether the next card drawn will be higher or lower than the current card on the table. If the prediction is correct, the player wins and the multiplier increases.
The game is designed to be quick and easy to understand, making it popular with both beginners and experienced casino players. After each successful guess, you can either cash out your winnings or continue playing to try and increase your multiplier further.
HiLo is part of the Chips Originals lineup and includes additional features like Bonus Bets, which make the game more dynamic than traditional HiLo versions.
How do you play HiLo?
Playing HiLo only takes a few steps:
Choose your bet amount.
A card appears on the screen.
Predict whether the next card will be Higher or Lower.
A new card is revealed.
If your guess is correct, you win and your multiplier increases.
After every correct guess, you can cash out your winnings or continue the streak to build a bigger payout.
In this picture, I made a bet of 10 TRX. Made 7 consecutive guesses and cashed out at the last one giving me a multiplier of 4.13x.
How do you win in HiLo?
You win by correctly predicting whether the next card will be higher or lower than the current card.
For example:
If the current card is 4, choosing Higher wins if the next card is 5 through King.
If the current card is Queen, choosing Lower wins if the next card is Jack through 2.
The game calculates the multiplier dynamically based on probability, meaning harder predictions offer higher payouts.
In this picture, you can see that there are gray cards (7, 8 and J), these are cards that were dealt but I chose to skip the card for a better and higher percentage output.
What are bonus bets in HiLo?
One of the unique features of the our HiLo game is the bonus bets system.
Bonus Bets allow players to choose a different wager (instead of the typical Hi or Lo) on certain card outcomes during the round. These options include:
Black card
Red card
Cards between 2–10
Face cards (J, Q, K)
Ace
Unlike fixed side bets, the multipliers for these bets change depending on the current card and the probability of the next draw. This dynamic payout system adds another layer of strategy and excitement to the game.
Why do the multipliers change during the game?
HiLo multipliers change based on the probability of the next card outcome.
For example:
If the current card is 2, predicting Higher is very likely, so the multiplier is smaller.
If the current card is Queen, predicting Higher is less likely, so the multiplier is larger.
This probability-based system helps balance risk and reward for every decision.
