What's this new page in the footer?
We've added a Mirror Sites page, linked right in the footer, that lists all of Chips.gg's mirror sites along with their current status (online, offline, etc.) all in one place.
What's a "mirror site," anyway?
A mirror is basically a backup copy of Chips.gg, hosted on a different domain. Same site, same account, same funds, just an alternate address to get you in if the main one's ever blocked, down, or acting up.
Why would I need to use one?
Sometimes the main domain gets blocked by an ISP, country restriction, or just has a hiccup. Instead of being stuck waiting it out, you can hop on a mirror and keep playing without missing a beat.
Is it safe to use a mirror link?
Yep! As long as it's listed on our official Mirror Sites page. We only list domains we actually run, so anything shown there is legit. If you find a "Chips.gg" link somewhere else that's not on that list, don't trust it.
Do I need a different account or login for a mirror?
Nope. Same login, same balance, same everything. It's the same platform under the hood, just a different door in.
How do I know if a mirror is working?
That's exactly what the status indicator is for as each mirror shows its live status right on the page, so you can see at a glance which ones are up before you try switching over.
