A detailed guide on how to verify the outcome of a dice bet?

Updated over a week ago

Why would I want to verify my dice bet outcome?

Verifying an outcome of a bet is a proof that the result is totally random and is not manipulated, when playing on a provably fair site you should be able to verify the outcome of your bets when you want to, or when you feel your bad luck is just out of this world.

Chips.gg provide you all that you need to verify an outcome. We have our own validator available on-site, or you can use any other validator that uses the same system like ours:

What are the components that I need to verify an outcome?

Once you open the validator you will need 3 crucial components to verify the outcome of your bet, and those are:

  • Client Seed: Your personal seed.

  • Server Seed: An unhashed version of the server seed provided to you by our casino.

  • Nonce: The count of your bet, nonce starts at 0 and is infinite.

Can I verify an outcome without changing my client seed?

The answer is No, if you were able to verify an outcome without changing the client seed, then you will have all the information you need to "Generate" the next outcome by simply increasing the nonce.

How to verify my bet outcome?

The process is simple:

  1. Go to the Dice Game page

  2. Scroll down to see "My Bets"

  3. Click on "Dice - Chips Originals"

  4. Click on "Validate"

  5. If you are still using the same seeds as this bet then you will need to change the seed so future bets use a new seed.

If the seed for this bet has been changed then you can click on "Verify Outcome" to show the outcome.

For the bet above we used:

  1. Client Seed: show me the money

  2. Server Seed: 7d312a9aca8ce650191fd9b31def52f9b20ed4246777569e7b76c0d680ea90a5

  3. Nonce: 15

  4. The outcome was: 34.04

You are able to use these information and check previous or next nonce for the outcomes.
