KYC (Know Your Customer)

A guide on what KYC is, why is it needed, and how to complete it on your account, Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3.

What is KYC?

KYC stands for Know Your Customer. It is the process of a player providing basic information about their identity, and legal documents to back up that information.

There are 3 levels of KYC verifications on Chips.gg:

  1. Tier 1 (Basic Information)

  2. Tier 2 (Identity Verification)

  3. Tier 3 (Proof of funds)

Do I need to KYC?

You are not required to submit KYC for playing on Chips.gg at this moment, however there are some situations where you would be obligated to submit KYC to continue playing on the site and having access to essential features in your account.

3. Your Member Account

3.10. We have the right to carry out “KYC” (Know Your Customer) verification procedures and access to your Member Account may be blocked or closed if we determine that you have supplied false or misleading information.

Chips reserves the right to carry out additional KYC verification procedures for any withdrawals exceeding the equivalent of 1 Bitcoin or $2000 as regulated by our gaming license, and further reserves the right to carry out such verification procedures in case of smaller withdrawals, as demanded by our gaming license. Account Holders who wish to recover funds held in a closed, locked or excluded account, are advised to contact Customer Support.

How to complete KYC?

You can submit all of tier 1, 2, and 3 of KYC in the verify page that is located in your Profile / verify. Click on the button below to be redirected to the verification page.
