Overview:
Chips.gg uses centralized wallets for your account, it means that in order to have funds in your account to play, you will need to deposit funds into the account.
It works the same way as a centralized exchange such as Binance, Huobi, Kucoin, and many others...
How to deposit?
Once you register an account on chips a unique address is assigned to your account for each currency, some currencies such as XRP will require you to deposit to the address and the TAG provided for your deposit to be successful.
Click on the button below to open the deposit page:
Step 1. Select currency
Select the currency you would like to deposits, all displayed currencies are the ones accepted on Chips.gg. A list of supported currencies can be found here:
Step 2. Select the Chain / Network
After you selected the currency, now it's time to select the chain you like to deposit on. Note that chains are like branches, they work independently from each other even though they belong to the same currency.
For example if you select to deposit SHIB into your account, you have 2 chain options:
"Ethereum", or it can be called "ETH" or "ERC20". All of the 3 names means that if you select one of them, that this address is provided for you to deposit SHIB on the Ethereum network.
"BSC", or it can be called "Binance Smart Chain" or "BEP20". All of the 3 names means that if you select one of them, that this address is provided for you to deposit SHIB on the Binance Smart Chain network.
It is important for the exchange or wallet you are sending from to match the chain you have selected on Chips.gg.
If the exchange or wallet you are withdrawing from does not give you an option to select a chain that means that they use one chain only for this currency, it is your obligation to ask their support or investigate to figure out which chain that is before you send any funds.
Depositing funds to a wrong address or chain will lead to the loss of your funds.

Step 3. Your generated address:
Now that you have select the currency and the chain you want, an address is generated for you to deposit to.
You can copy the address and paste it in your exchange or wallet, or simply scan the QR code if your add supports QR code scanning for address.
Always make sure that the pasted address match the copied one, an easy way to do since the address is very long, is to check the first and last 5 letters of the address and make sure they match.
As you can see in the example above, we have selected to deposit SHIB on the Ethereum network, so I have to be 100% sure that when I withdraw to this address that the sender is sending SHIB on the Ethereum network.
Always read all the guides are warnings provided on the deposit page.
