A guide on how to deposit - coin , token , currency , chain , network

Updated this week

Chips.gg uses centralized wallets for your account. This means that to have funds available for playing, you need to deposit them into your account. The process is similar to using centralized exchanges such as Binance, Huobi, KuCoin, and others.

Quick guide

Step 1: Open the deposit page

To begin, click on the Deposit Page button provided on our platform.

Step 2: Select a currency

Choose the currency you wish to deposit. Only supported currencies are displayed on Chips.gg. For a full list of accepted currencies, refer to the Supported Currencies section

Step 3: Select the chain/network

After selecting the currency, choose the appropriate chain/network for your deposit. Chains act as independent branches for transactions, even for the same currency.

  • Example: If depositing SHIB, you can choose between:

    • Ethereum (ETH/ERC20): Deposits to the Ethereum network.

    • Binance Smart Chain (BSC/BEP20): Deposits to the Binance Smart Chain network.

⚠️ Important: Ensure the chain/network selected on Chips.gg matches the one used by the wallet or exchange you’re sending funds from. Sending funds to the wrong address or chain can result in the permanent loss of funds.

  • If your exchange or wallet does not allow chain selection, it likely supports only one chain for that currency. Please confirm with their support or investigate before proceeding.

NOTE: Depositing funds to a wrong address or chain will lead to the loss of your funds.

Step 4: Use your generated address

Once the currency and chain are selected, a unique deposit address is generated for your account. You can:

  • Copy the address and paste it into your exchange or wallet.

  • Scan the QR code if your wallet supports QR code scanning.

Pro Tip: To ensure accuracy when pasting the address, compare the first and last 5 characters of the copied address with the generated address on Chips.gg.

As you can see in the example above, we have selected to deposit SHIB on the Ethereum network, so I have to be 100% sure that when I withdraw to this address that the sender is sending SHIB on the Ethereum network.

Special Note for Some Currencies

Certain currencies, like XRP, require a Tag along with the deposit address for successful transactions. Always include the provided Tag when depositing these currencies.

Always read all the guides are warnings provided on the deposit page.
