Chain Selection for Deposits and Withdrawals

Importance of Correct Chain Selection

Selecting the correct chain is essential for the success of your deposit or withdrawal. Using the wrong chain risks permanent loss of funds.

Whenever you deposit or withdraw, the currency and chain on both sides must match. This means:

  • The deposit currency and chain on Chips.gg must align with the withdrawal currency and chain from your wallet or exchange.

  • Similarly, for withdrawals, ensure the selected currency and chain on Chips.gg match the receiving wallet or exchange.

Supported Chains on Chips.gg

Here are some examples of supported chains and their identifiers:

  • Binance Smart Chain (BSC/BEP20): Use this chain if your wallet or exchange also supports BSC/BEP20.

  • Ethereum Network (ETH/ERC20): Select this chain for transactions involving the Ethereum network.

  • Tron Network (TRX/TRC20): Ensure your wallet or exchange uses the TRC20 chain for Tron transactions.

⚠️ Key Reminder: If you select BSC on Chips.gg, your wallet or exchange must also use the BSC chain. Similarly, if you choose the Ethereum network, your sending or receiving wallet must match with Ethereum.
